Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Secluded, yet close to all that the Bay Area has to offer. This beautiful A frame cabin is 5 minutes from wineries and county parks, 5 minutes from Saratoga Springs, 10 minutes from Downtown Saratoga and the Stevens Creek Reservoir, and halfway between the San Jose Airport and Santa Cruz beaches. This is the perfect place to disconnect from city life. Spend the night stargazing, wake up to the sound of birds singing and the smell of mountain air.
The space
This beautiful A frame cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom, dining nook, and living area. There is a bedroom with a Queen sized bed on the ground floor and a King sized bed in the loft. There are large windows throughout the cabin so you can enjoy the mountain views. There is a front porch and a patio table for outdoor dining. There is no cell service, but the wifi works well enough for calls, texting, streaming, zoom, etc.
Guest access
The A frame is located on 13 private, gated acres. Guests will have access to the roughly 1/4 acre flat area where the A frame is located. The owners live on the property, a short walk (but not visible) from the A frame.
Other things to note
There are 3 steps leading up to the A frame's front door, so guests with limited mobility should take note. Once inside, guests with limited mobility can make use of the bedroom on the main floor. Our water is great for showering, but is not suitable for drinking. We provide a gallon of drinking water, but guests should consider bringing more. Door dash and other food delivery services do not come out to the A frame so please be sure to come prepared with food. The loft bedroom is not suitable for children and is strictly off limits to children under 10 years old. We gladly welcome up to 1 friendly, well behaved dog under 50 pounds. Our friendly, large dog has free range of the property. He rarely goes near the A frame, but he is a senior dog so friendly companions are a must!
