The rustic setting is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet 15 minutes from the quaint and festive towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City. You are an hour and fifteen minutes from Lake Tahoe and the Donner Ski Resorts.
Horses normally greet you at the front gate at Lodestar Gold The streams run throughout the property during the Winter and Spring months, and the private park close by offers a year round creek, picnic tables and fun for your dogs or for just you and your friends to unwind and discover the local wildlife, flora and fauna. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular due to the long distance views throughout the property. You can lose yourself wandering around the 8 acres, spotting many birds, fox, deer and other local critters, or just unwind, swinging in the hammocks located at quiet spots on the property. Or perhaps, why not indulge in a good glass of wine and take in the view on one of the scenic decks. Need more action? Then off you go to the many watering holes, shops, or festivities of Grass Valley and Nevada City.
The house accommodates individual guests, as well as couples and families. Dogs (a limit of 1) are welcome visitors. Sorry, no kitties allowed.
