This little treasure right on the Berkeley/Oakland border is located in the best neighborhood to easily explore all parts of the Bay Area. It's convenient and in walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores (Berkeley Bowl & Whole Foods), farmers markets, movie theaters and much more.
UC Berkeley is a 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute car ride, and only a 15 minute drive into San Francisco.

The ENTIRE HOUSE and what it has to offer is all yours to enjoy during your stay. It is your home away from home. Feel free to use all that's available in the kitchen. A sliding glass door opens to a peaceful deck filled with plants and a nice place to relax.
Our house was built from the ground up, salvaging the front section. It belonged to my grandparents. We grew up in this house and neighborhood. We are inviting you into our space. Please respect it and treat it like your own.

I live on the Berkeley/Oakland border. Enjoy both cities! Walking distance to downtown Berkeley, UC Berkeley, Temescal & Rockridge areas. Bart & AC Transit within walking distance. Easy access to all highways and freeways to Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Richmond, Sausalito, Napa, Calistoga, etc.
Local public transportation within walking distance-AC Transit bus stops, Ashby BART Station 3 blocks away, Ford Bikes to rent in many locations.
My house is attached to my sister's house. We are very connected and close. My front door is down the driveway and through the gate. Her back deck is attached to my front deck.
You can let yourself in with the touch keypad. We have street parking for two hours at a time M-F. Weekends & holidays no permit needed. (permit needed to park on the street more than 2 hours), driveway may be available for parking one car (must arrange with me)
It is okay to arrive later than 3 pm or to check out later than 11am, please check with me first.
