Our cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus a cozy living room, an entertainment room with a large HDTV, an office with a wireless all-in-one printer/copier, a washer & dryer, a dishwasher, central heat and air, lots of natural light throughout the house and Wi-Fi. It is conveniently located near the Monterey peninsula in the little town of Del Rey Oaks. We welcome you to visit and enjoy the stunning beauty of Monterey Bay and the surrounding areas!
Our home is just over a mile and a half inland from Seaside Beach and the Monterey Bay in the quiet bedroom community of Del Rey Oaks. It frequently is sunny and warm in Del Rey Oaks because it is tucked in a small canyon and it is inland just enough to isolate it from the marine layer.
Every imaginable store is located within 2½ miles of our home (Target, Costco, OSH, Home Depot, Staples, Home Goods, Marshalls to name a few) and Safeway is just around the corner less than a ½ mile away.
Downtown Monterey, the Conference Center and Fisherman’s Wharf are all less than 3 miles away and Pacific Grove, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium are all less than 5 miles away.
Carmel-by-the-Sea and the Laguna Seca Raceway are both less than 15 minutes away and Big Sur and the rugged and spectacular California coastline is less than a 1 hour drive south.
