The center of the home is the second-floor great room, which includes peaked ceilings, lots of natural light, and bespoke furniture in an airy, open space. There's a seamless flow from kitchen to the dining area to the living room, and all have high ceilings with skylights and well-appointed furnishings. The spacious kitchen has views of the Lake right out the window, and all the amenities to please the chef in the family: granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, slow cooker, and a large breakfast bar with chic, comfortable bar stools for company.
In addition to the dining table with room for 8 (with a leaf to fit up to 15!), there's also a large deck off the kitchen with a Weber grill and large patio table. In the living room, sink into one of numerous sumptuous couches; enjoy a mellow evening around custom-made stone hearth, or take advantage of the flat-screen television for a movie night. You also have the option of winding down a game of pool and some old-fashioned fun in the downstairs billiard/rec room! Adding to the home's charm are five private bedrooms, each with its own theme and with headboards built by a local artisan.
This is the perfect destination for those who enjoy the outdoors-to any degree! For those who like to observe the idyllic beauty from afar, there are many windows and skylights throughout the home. For the snowflake catchers and sunbathers, there are multiple decks; two on the first story, plus one on the second story. The home is located across the street from Lake Tahoe, so there's a limitless list of watersports and activities to explore. Some of the country's premier ski resorts are a short drive away; Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are 20 minutes away, and Northstar is about 25.
If you are bringing a pet - the pet fee is not included in this total price. An additional pet fee will be applied after booking is complete. A maximum of 2 pets can be brought to the unit.
