The 10 acre farm began as little cabin and has now transformed into a retreat center in the forrest, a place to gather for family reunions, weddings, workshops, ceremonies and events. The property also holds space for a huge medieval style outdoor labyrinth constructed of eleven truck and trailer loads serpentine, the state rock of California. The two gardens are abundant with fruit trees, veggies and flowers. The one acre pond is a delight for a summer swim during the irrigation season. The farmhouse was last remodeled with Brazilian cherry hard wood floors throughout. Beautiful views of a large variety of trees can be seen outside of every window. This is the perfect elevation for the largest variety of trees on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Georgetown is known for it's gold mining and timber harvesting history. The town is within a mile and offers restaurants, bars, a distillery, tourist shops, a museum and a little market, with a supermarket just outside of town. Walking to town through the local nature area is a delightful experience. Nature hikes abound throughout the area and Lake Edson is just 15 miles up country.
