This is a four bedroom apartment in a great and safe residential area of Madison Valley heights with a full kitchen. You would be near all of the commercial activity of downtown Maidon Valley and Arboretum in Madison Valley, a stones throw from the bus terminal with easy access to Capital Hill, University of Washington, and Downtown.

I loved staying at Marie's so much — I've come back to stay 3 times! The apartment is located in Pac Heights/Polk, super central to the city and walkable to pretty much anywhere you would want to go. While staying at Marie's I would walk to the Marina for dinner, Polk for happy hour, and to my office in FiDi. I really appreciated the Starbucks just a few blocks up the street, in addition to all the other food/coffee/drink options just off Polk or Van Ness (less than 5 min walk). Another huge bonus is the Whole Foods right up the street!
When I arrived, the apartment had been professionally cleaned and it was in perfect order! Marie has decorated the place wonderfully and it feels like a home! Overall the apartment is SUPER spacious, especially for San Francisco. The bedroom is massive and I loved laying in bed having a coffee with the windows open. It gets beautiful light in the daytime! The closet is huge with plenty of room for a longer stay. The bed is soooo comfortable. I literally wanted to buy the bed after leaving because I slept so good!! I myself don't cook, but the kitchen is impeccably stocked with all cooking utensils and dishes if you do! There were towels provided and things like paper towels/toilet paper to get you started. I did replenish these upon leaving as a courtesy to the next guest!
During my stay I usually would leave during the day to work from the office, but overall the apartment was very quiet and I rarely heard neighbors. The walls are thin in older buildings, so I did keep a lower profile as to not disturb any of the neighbors (nothing too crazy, but don't throw a party!)
The building has a washer and dryer that takes credit card which was super nice (and rare in SF). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and there are stairs and an elevator. I always felt super safe in the building, even at night. The neighborhood is very safe and the building has key entry.
Marie is an amazing host and was always super quick to respond to my few questions, and overall just a gem of a human being to work with
