The terrace suite Includes 2 large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a brand new full kitchen, and a washer/dryer. The suit features 7 large windows in the living room with tons of natural light, looking out into the backyard and the peaceful park. We provide a space for one vehicle. (If you have an additional vehicle, please let us know for consideration). This space is perfect if you want to be surrounded by nature and nestled into a quiet neighborhood, while being minutes away from D.C Georgetown and Bethesda Row.
PRIVATE ENTRANCE. The owners occupy the top two floors of the home and will be be available for any support or assistance needed, but will otherwise provide absolute privacy for guests. We haven't been super proactive with collecting reviews on this specific booking site (we've used other booking sites in the past), but our renters have had lovely experiences and have been so grateful for this hidden gem!

There is a view of a yard and woods behind the rental unit, but our yard is for our sweet doodles- but there is ultimate ability to get outside with the trails in the park behind our lot, a children's park steps away, and a walkable neighborhood.
Renters downstairs may hear the occasional dog bark- but upon asking, guests have never mentioned, complained or commented about any issues regarding sound. Please book with the knowledge that you are renting a place below a family's home. Rest assured this hidden gem (2 miles from DC borderline and 10 mins from downtown) is a peaceful place for you to stay.
The Terrace is close enough to DC, but far enough from the honking, the noise, the people. This is a quiet, safe neighborhood with not many cars going by. Safe for walking and a stroll to the park.

The home is located above ground, but on the lower level of our home. Your unit has a private door entrance, through our shared garage. We have friendly doodles on the property, they mostly use the backyard but you are welcome to use the public park, located right behind our backyard. We are very quiet upstairs, but please note that there may be footsteps during the daytime, and you may hear the occasional dog bark from upstairs if the mailman comes. Our renters have never mentioned any sound issues and said that this unit has fit their needs perfectly.
We do not allow pets.
We also will give you a parking spot for one car, but if you have more than one car this must be noted before your stay.
We are looking for respectful renters, who are going to treat the place as their own. We encourage renters to be carefree about sound as we do not hear it, but excessive noise like slamming doors or yelling is prohibited.
