2 Bedroom Cottage in Prescott
Iron Springs Cottage is our personal vacation home perched on top of more than a half an acre of boulders and trees. It is located about three and a half miles from the downtown square. Beautiful landmark, Thumb Butte, can be seen from the front deck . The back deck offers complete privacy, great hiking, and a view of the massive boulders and trees on the property. There are rocking chairs and table on back deck to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. There is also a gas barbecue for grilling.
The Cottage has been completely remodeled (December 2017). The latest flooring, windows, doors, beds, furniture, and appliances. Two new beautiful covered decks. Every gadget and small appliance you might need to make your stay comfortable and convenient. We have tried to include everything I can think of, to make your stay a nice one!
Bath is equipped with a make-up vanity and mirror, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, three rolls of toilet tissue, first aid kit, and many extras you don't find in hotels or most vacation rentals.
Laundry room comes equipped with detergent, softener, iron, and ironing board.
There is a single carport for parking. There is enough room for 3 vehicles but you must leave access for neighbors on either side to enter and exit.
The kitchen includes Keurig and Mr. Coffee makers, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, sweet and low, Cream, condiments, oils, vinegar, spices, baggies, foil, and anything else I thought you might need.
The Cottage is located on Iron Springs Road which is a busily traveled road. This makes the front deck noisy at rush hour times. The back deck is very quiet and the house and boulders block noise. The new windows and doors make the house very quiet. Iron Springs makes it very easy to go to the store, go to a restaurant, go downtown, the lake , hiking etc. As long as you are prepared that the front deck is a little noisy at rush hour.
