A wonderful retreat for wine lovers, this light-filled home offers easy access to the Sonoma Valley vineyards and downtown Santa Rosa. The expansive grounds offer views of a dramatic landscape with mountains in the distance.
The rolling property grounds are studded with majestic oak trees. Take in views of the distant mountains on the sun-dappled main deck, where a table offers the perfect spot for breakfast. The backyard also has a secluded sitting area, while a bench offers a quiet spot to read or gaze across the sweeping landscape. A deck near the front of the home has a pair of loungers and a bistro table.
The inviting and contemporary living space features modern artwork and wood floors. Take in the views from the comfort of a sofa and armchairs. Or settle in with a movie on the 37-inch TV. The sparkling kitchen features white subway tiles, black countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and side-by-side refrigerator. Enjoy festive vacation meals in the elegant dining area.
The primary bedroom boasts a king bed and an elegantly tiled en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. In the second bedroom, another California king bed ensures a good night's sleep. The house is located less than a half-mile from the placid waters of Spring Lake Park. Walking and biking trails, a summer swimming lagoon, picnic areas, and a lake for kayaking make this one of Santa Rosa's most popular green spaces. You're also situated less than a mile from Annadel State Park, a Northern California hiking and mountain biking destination. With Sonoma Highway under a 5-minute drive away, you'll have easy access to some of the region's top wineries. Within a 10-minute drive, flit between the restaurants and boutiques of downtown Santa Rosa, or visit the specialty stores of Santa Rosa Plaza. Local golf courses are also nearby, including Bennett Valley Golf Course, within a 12-minute drive.
