The property offers convenience to Middleburg, The Plains, Upperville, many Fox-hunts & Equestrian Venues, a spacious, sunny location, set back off John Marshall Highway.
This home has all the conveniences of a new home, with traditional, comfortable furnishings. Guests will reside in the two story main portion of the house. The garage and basement are not accessible to guests. (But no one else will be staying on the premises while guests are in residence). 2BRs & 1 1/2 baths.
Included is High speed wifi, DIrect TV, and home has two zones of centeal heating and cooling. You enter into the center hall, with a large Living Room with gas fireplace, that opens to a dining room which connects to the kitchen. A large deck is off the dining room.
Upstairs, from the carpeted stairway, leads to two large bedrooms, one connected to the full bath. The other has access from the hallway. Both have very large closets.
A very spacious Laundry room, is also off upper hall. It can have a twin bed added, upon request, if guests need an extra place for a single person to sleep.
Cook out, or just relax on the large back deck, read or dine in the charming gazebo.

The house is on a slight rise, overlooking Goose Creek, & beyond is the Tiny historic of Village of Markham, with most of its original buildings in use.
Visit the Old Post Office, (once the Marshall-Ashby Store). The old train station in more recent years was a long time cabinet makers shop. The Railroad still runs through the Village, since Edward Carrington Marshall built the Southern Railroad, & extended the Alexandria line to west by blasting through the the Manassas Gap, west of Markham towards Linden.
Markham, VA has been the birthplace or long time home of some of America’s most important historic figures. Chief Justice John Marshall, Col. & Gen. Turner Ashby, E C Marshall, who built the Southern Railroad, General Patton, & others who contributed to our rich history.
