Look no further, if you are looking to surf, swim, eat, drink, and enjoy a San Diego beachfront experience that will keep you coming back year over year, at a price that won't break the bank.
Our house is located directly across from the historic Imperial Beach Pier (less than 100 feet to a sandy beach that goes on for miles, with multiple surf breaks), one of only three public piers in all of San Diego county. Its three stories tall, and has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a 2 car garage.
The garage is on the ground level (obviously), and is stocked with all sorts of awesome beach toys so you don't have to bring your own, including wavestorm surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and even a cooler so you can go relax on the beach and not have to worry about transporting your own toys, just enjoying your vacation, yet still have space to park your car in a secure garage less than 50 feet from the pier.
This house is all about location. Not only is it in a perfect spot to walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and get some drinks at Coronado Brewing's newest restaurant and microbrew, but 10 minutes by car (15-20 min by bike) to the famous Hotel Del Coronado, and less than 20 miles from, the San Diego Airport, Seaport Village, Little Italy, the Gaslamp, Petco Park, the San Diego Convention Center (home of ComicCon), and the shortest walk I have ever seen to Imperial Beach's best surfbreak (youtube Imperial Beach Surfing, all of the videos are shot less than 100 feet from the house). On Friday afternoons you simply have to walk out the front door and you are at the Imperial Beach Farmers Market, featuring the highlights of San Diego's culinary delights.
We've tried super hard to not only pick the best location but furnish the house in a manner that suits it's awesome location, with hybrid memory foam mattresses, upgraded GE Monogram appliances in the kitchen, new LG 4K HD LCD TV's w/Cox Contour Ultimate HD package, all sports channels, HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, & Starz in the (65") living room, (55") master bedroom, (55") bedroom 1, (55") bedroom 2, a custom couch in the living room, a BBQ on the patio, blazing fast Gigablast internet up to 1 Gbps download speeds, high end toiletries, non-scarring toilet paper ;), and even keyless entry to the house, so you don't have to worry about losing the key in the sand, when you are taking your afternoon nap in the sun.
The house is also as kid friendly as possible, with two adult rooms with a King and Queen, and in the third room, double sized bunk beds, allowing 5 kids to sleep in one room, perfect if you want to bring two families together for a great beachfront vacation. On the north side of the pier there is a small playground that is visible from throughout the house. The bunk beds will support adults as well (top bunk 300 pound limit), so if you have a bunch of buddies looking for a surf weekend, we can make sure you have a great time too. Additional queen sized air mattresses are available in the garage to provide even additional sleeping if you have a large party, space to set them up is limited.
