We would love to host you at our ocean view condo getaway located in a California Coastal Zone. This 2-bedroom 2-bath corner end unit is situated on a 200-foot ocean bluff above the blue Pacific. From sunrise to sunset, the living/dining areas open to gorgeous ocean views taking in Catalina Island to Abalone Cove. The spacious open floor plan boasts two large balcony decks with enough room for outdoor eating/entertaining and gas grilling. Large living room windows the tennis court and balcony sliders open up to views of the blue Pacific. Both bedroom balconies face a lush green treed courtyard. Appliances include microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and compact clothes washer. Amenities include pool with jacuzzi, tennis courts, reserved garage parking, and a private gated trail to the shoreline below, just steps from your front door. Built-in seating is at the water's edge so bring your drinks and picnic lunch while enjoying the sound of lapping waves. Watch the sunset and a variety of sea life perched upon ocean rocks and in tide pools. The ocean air is invigorating, yet calming.
There is plenty to do for the adventurous at heart. From your doorstep there is a 10-15-minute flat, easy walk along an ocean bluff trail overlooking the sea cliffs that leads to a premier five star Terranea Resort. Along the public walking trail you can relax to take in the ocean air and the majestic ocean view of Catalina Island.
While at Terranea enjoy the many indoor/outdoor dining options with several bars, nightly entertainment, and a day spa. Visitors can explore beach caves from a sandy shoreline at the resort. Both casual and formal dining establishments are all open to the public. Free parking is validated if you decide to drive (a 2 minute drive) to the grounds. Also, a nine hole Executive golf course reserves tee times for non-guest visitors to the resort. Enjoy an ocean view from every hole!
From Terranea Resort a walking path continues, leading to the historical Point Vicente lighthouse and Interpretive Center. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from one of many picnic tables available throughout the park. There is also a visitor center and gift shop.
More activities await to the north with a 10-mile scenic drive to the Redondo Beach Pier. Here you will find over 30 restaurants, drinking establishments, retail shopping and sport rental shops. Head south to San Pedro for a day excursion to Catalina Island by boat/helicopter or take in a tour of the USS Iowa. Both sites are within a 1/2 hour drive of the property.
More adventurous visitors can venture out to the scenic 399 acre Portuguese Bend Nature Reserve, which is a very short walking distance from the property. The preserve offers multi-use trails to hike or mountain bike. Expansive, picturesque seascape views, rolling hills, and canyons make the uphill trek worth it!
If golf is your game, Los Verdes public18 hole Golf Course is a 15 minute drive and Trump National (a 5 minute drive from the property) is also open to the public for golf and dining.
Golden Cove Shopping Center is a five-minute drive from the property where several indoor/outdoor restaurants offer Italian, Mexican, Japanese, and Thai cuisine. Quick bite choices include Domino's, Subway, Starbucks, Poke Me, and Yellow Vase Bakery & Cafe. A local Pub, 7-11, gas station, retail shops, nail salon, seafood market, and TraderJoe's are located here with lots of free parking.
Destinations such as the Queen Mary, Disneyland, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive and other famous landmarks are within an hour-15 minute drive from your condo retreat.
