Come and make memories at this well-appointed lakefront house and surrounding acreage on the shores of Lake Bob Sandlin. The brick house (built in 2010) features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. On each end of the house, there is a bedroom with a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom, making the house ideal for 2 couples who want some privacy during their stay. In addition, there is a bedroom with a queen size bed and a bedroom with 2 bunk beds that will sleep persons weighing less than 160 pounds.

A stone stairway descends from the covered back porch to a large firepit located on the lake shore – a great place to enjoy the magnificent view and chat with friends and family. The house is located on approximately 5 acres of scenic land with large trees and a variety of birds and other wildlife. Recreational amenities include a putting green, ping-pong table, cornhole set, horseshoes, kayaks, a paddleboard, fishing poles, and some indoor games. There is a lighted fishing pier on the property, as well as a boathouse that can be used by guests who bring their own boat.

The island kitchen is equipped with typical appliances (refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, water dispenser) and cooking and eating utensils. The living room has a flat screen TV with streaming channels, including YouTube TV, Netflix and Max. An outdoor charcoal grill is also provided.

The property is located approximately 20 minutes from Winnsboro, which has a farmers market each Saturday from April through October as well as some charming boutiques and restaurants. Or you can explore the nearby town of Pittsburg (also about 20 minutes away) with its selection of shops and restaurants. There are also some wineries in the area.

The person who books the property will be required to sign our standard occupancy agreement, and each guest will be required to sign our standard form waiver prior to or at check-in. The property is served by a water well, but purified bottled drinking water is provided. Please be aware that some landscaping work remains to be done on the property - the price has been adjusted to take this into account.
