Summary: This is a lovely, thoughtfully equipped small apartment. I worked at the little desk much of the week, but was able to take my laptop out to the patio most days for a bit, which really broke up the workday nicely. The cooking area is small--a two-burner induction stove and a microwave, no oven--but sufficient to my needs for the week. I was grateful for the French press and kettle for tea, and there's a coffee machine for those who prefer a filter drip. Comfy bed, quiet location, adequate parking. There is some sound bleed-through from the main house, but not enough to disturb me in the least. The owners were having some trouble with pipes while I was there, so the water was cut off at one point, but communication around that was easy and apologetic. I'm a homeowner myself, I know how these things can crop up, usually at the least convenient time. They got my water restored quickly, and it ended up being minimally inconvenient for me. Loved it--would happily stay there again in future.
