The Space:
This quaint 650-square-foot apartment attached to the main house. Your space shares a wall with the main house and it’s possible to hear muffled noises from the home, although we work really hard to be considerate of our guests. This home sits in the Deschutes River Woods on the edge of Deschutes National Forest. This comfortably decorated apartment shares a wall with the main house but has its own private entrance and back patio.
The main spaces of the apartment:
- Cozy-cottage-style furnishings in the bedroom and living room, separated by a ½ wall with no door. (For groups of 3+ please take this into account for privacy.)
- The bedroom features a comfy queen-sized bed.
- A well-equipped kitchen with all you'd need to prepare simple meals to enjoy at home or in the backyard in nature! Coffee maker there too!
- There’s 1 full bathroom with a stand-in shower and nice-sized vanity.
- Spacious front patio with seating to breathe in nature and enjoy your morning coffee!
- Large front yard surrounded by pine trees and forest scents.
- Private back patio area with a BBQ grill and a view of the forest and the occasional deer passing by to graze!
This place is perfect for two adults in the room with a queen-size bed and a child or an adult who doesn’t mind sleeping on a small futon, approximately 4’x4’ in size. (*Please note before booking for 3 that the futon may not be ideal for all adults.) A Pack ‘n Play is also available upon request in the event you’re traveling with a baby or toddler.
The home is situated in the forest and surrounded by large pine trees. You can expect plenty of wildlife encounters and we often have a family of deer graze in the backyard! It’s a beautiful sight. What’s more, you may be enjoying it from your bed with a view!

This great cottage in the woods has a large driveway with free parking and it very easy to get around the area. The home is about a 30-minute drive from the Redmond Municipal Airport and is located in the Deschutes River Woods area about 5 minutes off Highway 97 - the gateway to central Oregon. In just 10 minutes you can be in charming Downtown Bend, surrounded by great restaurants and bars, Old Mill Shopping District, fitness centers, boutique stores, superstores, and more. We provide a few essentials to make you feel more at home when you arrive like paper towels, dish sponge, dish detergent, trash bags in all trash cans, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner.

- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise is not tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters might be re to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are allowed with previous notice and an extra fee may apply if such is given.
- Please take note! This property has free-range chickens that roam in the backyard most days. If you have a dog with you, please NEVER let your dog in the backyard! Use the front yard for walks and for the potty, and when outside, always keep your dog on a leash.
