The Space:
The cottage has an open floor plan between the living room and kitchen. Enjoy socializing with your entire group while you cook in the kitchen or relax in the living room. . The Kitchen features all the basic necessities for preparing meals in this dainty quaint cottage. House sleeps seven and has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, with a large closet and private entrance to the only full bathroom. Second bedroom has one twin size bed and another full. Each bedroom has beautiful natural light and great views. House has one full bathroom. Living room offers a queen sofa sleeper that can sleep two. Take a day trip to downtown Luray, visit the great eating spots or shop the local shops. House has parking for a car or large SUV, with extra parking for other vehicles. Free wifi. Pet friendly with fee.
Cottage also has a full washer and dryer for guest use. The cell service and internet CAN be spotty here. We recommend not booking if you need reliable internet for work or school. Pet friendly with fee.

All cancellations due to weather are subject to our cancellation policy. There can be unpredictable winter weather in the Shenandoah Valley, which can make traversing roads and accessing homes challenging. We recommend purchasing traveler's insurance if you are concerned that your vehicle might not be able to traverse snowy roads during inclement weather and you may have to cancel.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located about 35 minutes from the town of Rileyville, and about 15 minutes to Luray Caverns. There is a small town with convenience store located less than ten minutes from the home.
Getting Around:
This is a rural area, so driving is a necessity.
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
