Situated halfway between Thornton Gap and Front Royal entrances to the national park, our cozy Shenandoah Valley home is the perfect escape! This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home can sleep 12! Whether traveling with family or friends, this quiet retreat is the perfect stay! About 20 minutes to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park. Pet friendly with a fee!
The Space:
Guest will enter through the front door using a digital key pad. Once inside you notice the how big and open this space feels! The living room is furnished with a queen sofa bed, two arm chairs, a large SmartTV, and is completely open to the fully-equipped kitchen. The large farm table completes the space, it provides seating for 6. The laundry room is just off the kitchen.
The three bedrooms are down the hallway from the living room. The first bedroom features a king bed and large SmartTV. The second bedroom has a full bed. The third bedroom features two twin over full bunk beds and has an en suite bathroom! The other full bathroom is also down the hallway, it features a shower and tub combination.
Don't forget the front porch. Sit outside and enjoy the lovely green space surrounding our home!
NOTE: our home is in a rural location and displays some common countryside traits we would like you to be aware of. Our neighbor has a number of dogs that roam freely, but we have never had any issues with this.
Additionally, while we have wifi, internet, and cell service can be spotty. We hope you can find a way to relax and unplug!
Guest Access:
The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located 1.5 miles from the town of Rileyville, 10 miles to the Luray Caverns, and is halfway between the Thornton Gap entrance and the Front Royal Entrance to Shenandoah National Park- about 20 minutes to both!
Getting Around:
This is a rural area, so driving is a necessity.
Other Things to Note:
Our neighbor has a number of free roaming dogs, this has never been an issue for us.
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $50 non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
