Summary: We had an outstanding time at this house. Quite honestly, it was beyond my expectations. The living area is great for entertaining with an island eating area, table that comfortably seat 8. On top of that, having 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms allowed us all to have our privacy. There was plenty of parking, and a respectable distance from neighbors. The real draw for us was that the house comes with a long dock where we were able to bring in a sailboat with a 6-foot draft and a power boat with lots of room. The dock is pretty basic, and does not come with power. Even so – if you are a boater and looking for a place to arrive by boat and enjoy the comfort of the house, a warm shower and a bed, this is heaven. There is a trick if you are coming by boat which is to come from the Franks Track side of the water (avoid the Emerald Point Marina side because it has lots of plant growth) – and stay as close as possible to the docks. The water at low tide is 7-8 feet deep the entire way. We really enjoy the Sacramento Delta, and this house made a great central point for dawdling on the delta or just hanging around the water. It is only 10 minutes by boat to the Sugar Barge, and 15 minutes to the Rusty Port Hole. The manager was great and answered all our questions promptly and was easy to work with. We certainly expect to return to this hidden treasure.
