This spacious three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath light and open floor plan house is located in the French chateau community of St. Malo. This community offers year-round summertime fun. The home features a lovely back patio with a gas fire pit, a large dining table, and a fantastic view of the Buena Vista Lagoon. The internal courtyard provides a beautiful space to dine and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and fabulous Southern California weather. The house is a short walk to the beach on private streets (no stairs).
Saint-Malo Beach is a 76-year-old gated community once a hidden paradise for movie stars and Los Angeles executives. The architecture is Normandy village style. The community was inspired by the island city of St. Malo, located off the Brittany coast of France. St Malo features a private beach with a clubhouse cabana, summer lifeguards, a barbecue, a covered patio, a sand volleyball court, a paddle tennis court, 2 tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts. Prince Phillip and Princess Anne stayed at St. Malo while in San Diego during their visit to the Summer Olympics in 1984. The neighborhood has a very European feel and is considered one of the best locations in Oceanside and San Diego.

***This property backs up to the Buena Vista Lagoon. Families with small children are advised to maintain complete supervision over children and guests at all times. There is a small brick wall that separates the patio and the lagoon but by no means should this wall be considered a barrier. Supervision of children is a must***
