Our charming home is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood on Lake Tahoe's North Shore. Surrounded by serene forest and close to several hiking trails, our house offers the perfect retreat. Kings Beach state park and a variety of restaurants are just three miles away. Ideal for family reunions, families with kids, or a group of 8 friends seeking adventure in Lake Tahoe. This house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood which is located two miles from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous hiking trails within a quarter of a mile from the front door of the house. Bears do roam the neighborhood during the summer but they prefer to stay away from people.

Nestled in the forest above Lake Tahoe, our three bedroom (+ den), two and a half bath sanctuary is fully outfitted and ready for your vacation. With easy access to Lake Tahoe and Northstar Ski Resort, as well as numerous trails for hiking, mountain biking, and skiing, our home offers endless outdoor adventure.

Our driveway can accommodate up to four cars.
Garage parking is not allowed between Oct 1 to May 1.
Street parking is prohibited at short term rentals year round.
Home Truths:
- As of Summer 2024, our sauna is in the process of being fixed and will not be available to guests - we are hoping it will be ready come Fall 2024.
- Like most Tahoe homes, we do not have air conditioning
- During winter months 4wd or chains are recommended to access the home.
- Outdoor furniture (including the BBQ) may not be available in the winter months (November - May).
- Firewood is not provided.
- Propane is not provided for the outdoor firepit.
- Due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, heavy snow falls and smoke associated with wildfires, we highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to cover your cancellation, as we will not be able to offer a full refund outside the cancellation window.
- Please note that the decks are available seasonally and may be closed during the winter months due to snow and safety precautions.
One lesson we've learned about the great outdoors is the frequent requirement to wipe down the deck furniture. Despite our efforts to maintain the utmost cleanliness for your convenience, it seems that nature is working against us. You may need to wipe down the outdoor table, chairs, and any other outdoor seating. The dust and pollen accumulates within a matter of hours.

PETS: No more than 2 dogs (under 80 pounds) are welcomed as long as they are fully house trained and not left alone anywhere in the house. If your animal has an "accident" on any carpet in the house, please contact the owner immediately so I can provide instructions for cleaning the carpet. Failure to do so will result in an extra cleaning fee of $250.
PARKING: No more than 4 vehicles allowed on the property. No garage parking October 1 - May 1. Street parking is not allowed.
Furnishings and amenities will be furnished as described whenever possible. In the event that an item is damaged/broken/lost the owner will restock as soon as possible. All items in description/pictures are not guaranteed.
Tahoe Cohost Collective is not a property manager and is not liable for any injury or damages incurred while staying at the property. All reservations are between the booking platform, the property owner, and you, the guest. We do our best to keep up with the maintenance of the house. Even though the house is cleaned and checked prior to your arrival, we may miss something, or, like your home, appliances, TV, hot tub etc. may malfunction during your stay. If you can’t remedy the problem, please message us.
Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control.
On rare occasions, the sauna or outdoor spa may not be available. Guests agree not to request any reimbursement if either of these facilities are unavailable.
