The space
Welcome to your mid-century retreat in Crescent City, a unique unit just three blocks from multiple stunning beaches and a quick five-minute walk to SeaQuake Brewery. This spacious 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home beautifully showcases its retro charm with original mid-century features, including warm wood accents, unique built-in’s, and bold color schemes.
The layout includes multiple wings, providing designated areas for relaxation and entertainment. Unwind in the inviting living room, gather around the dining area, or whip up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen. A functioning fireplace adds warmth and coziness, perfect for cool coastal evenings. The brand new, high efficiency mini split system makes it easy to heat and cool whatever zone of the home you’re in.
Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed for comfort, while the dedicated laundry room and garage offer added convenience during your stay. Enjoy the indoor/outdoor functionality of opening the two French doors to the small patio. The fully fenced yard, ideal for your furry friends and children to play in. You are welcome to use the entire space. There is only one cabinet that is for host supplies in the house. We have a toddler, so we have plenty of toddler toys as well as food dishes etc. for kids to use during your stay.
The yard is fully fenced. You will have access to a garage door opener, only one car fits in the garage and there is a $150 charge for losing the remote during your stay.
Other things to note
This house is retro: there is a low voltage electrical system that takes a tad bit of getting used to, but everything is clearly labeled and easy to use.
We have a mini split system in each wing of the house for zone-specific heating and cooling needs.
We are going to be doing a full renovation of the kitchen and bathroom, as well as an addition in the very near future, but feel that the house, though retro, is fully functional and well-equipped with everything you need for a wonderful vacation!
