This is a very unique property - it has the potential to be the highlight of your trip to Los Angeles. You will have an opportunity to enjoy a view of the ocean unlike any other from the massive beachside roof deck of our condo. You'll be drinking in the wonderful ocean air from the huge windows throughout our home. Many of the the best restaurants, beaches, and attractions in the city are a short walk, drive, or uber away. We have 5 comfortable beds - One king and 4 fulls in bunk along with two full sized bathrooms for you to use. The entire house is artfully decorated with modern furnishings. Being in the most desirable and safe beachside community in Los Angeles is a feeling unlike any other. You will have an opportunity to relax and revel in the fascinating Venice Beach lifestyle. Being this close to the beach is a rare treat that many people in Los Angeles never get to experience. The afternoons and sunsets seem apart from the city. This is the best location and option That being said, our home is not for everyone. We have tried our best to spell out all the idiosyncrasies in our home so that there are no surprises. Managing expectations is very important - please read this entire listing so you have a very clear idea of us, our home, and our expectations for you. Please be very clear about the total number of guests when booking this home. Anybody that will be entering our home is considered a guest, regardless of if they stay overnight. This home is a good fit for 6 to 16 guests, but no more than that. If you are trying to host a large group, there will be additional charges. Our neighbors are very dear friends of ours and we are very discerning about the groups that we allow to rent. We'll do our best to give you a verbal tour of the property so you have an idea of how things are setup. We are a short walk to Marina Bay and all of the great views and restaurants on the beach. Once you arrive at the house you will be able to see the beach on the left and our front door. You enter through the side of the property and walk up the stairs. The beach has volleyball nets that are open for public use. Feel free to set up a game with friends! Or challenge someone and make new friends! Our living room has white leather sectional sofa that accommodates four to six and can easily sleep two. A coffee table is in front of the sofa with a wall mounted 40” flat screen TV. To the right is a dining table that seats eight people. There are ocean views from this living room and the beach breeze cools the place to a perfect temperature. On the opposite side of the room is our working space with desk and swivel chair. We have a typical American style kitchen with a black topped center bar with two high chairs and cabinetry. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, double sink, coffee maker, blender and all utensils needed. Generous windows provide a lot of light and air circulates all around the room. The master bedroom with attached bathroom contains a rustic wooden king size bed with fresh linens and a hotel quality mattress with a large window allowing plenty of light. The bathroom features a large shower and tub with a glass door. A hand basin with wooden cabinet and a big mirror. The second room features two full bunk beds with an attached bathroom, which again has a similar arrangement to the other one. Hand soap and towels are provided. There is a washer/dryer on premises. Upstairs there is a generous roof deck with an ocean view. Chairs, lounges and a BBQ are available for your pleasure. A brief disclaimer: If you are looking for a 5 star hotel or a very modern home, this would not be a good fit for you. We prefer to host our home to guests that are tech savvy and independent. If you are used to calling the hotel front desk while abroad, our home might not be a good fit. Our home is professionally cleaned, all linens professionally laundered and all surfaces sanitized before and after each guest. That being said, the home is directly on the beach so surface rust, sand, and water stains are to be expected. This does not affect the cleanliness of the property, it simply comes with the territory of living on the beach. If you are the type of traveler that is uncomfortable with rust or water stains, this might not be the best home for you. If you are an independent beach enthusiast that is looking for the ultimate gateway to Venice Beach and Marina Del rey, we are excited to welcome you to our home! We provide towels, sheets, and pillows, so you do not need to bring these things with you. We do NOT provide shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, body wash, face wash, wash clothes, beach towels, sand toys, cable television, (we have netflix attached to our TV), or laundry soap. If these things are important to you, please bring them when visiting our home. We want you to be comfortable when staying, so if you have any additional questions, please ask! We are close to tons of great restaurants and attractions around the area: The Cheesecake Factory: (1.1 miles) Good food, good variety, tasty. Always have to wait to get a table but it is worth it. C&O Trastoria: (1.5 miles) Famous for its good service and endless garlic bread. Nice outdoor seating. And for all ages. Poke-poke: (1.5 miles) Fresh beach food, good quality poke and interesting flavor combinations. Beachside Restaurant and Bar: (1.4 miles) Lovely view of the water and fantastic service. a good brunch spot in the Marina. El tarasco mexican food: (8.7 miles) Authentic mexican food - cheap prices and great food. Places of interest: Venice Beach: (1 mile) World famous beach. Santa Monica Pier: 2.3 Miles Google Headquarters: (2.9 miles). The Ritz Carlton: (0.5 miles) Some of the best Marina Views you can find! Marina del Rey Sportfishing: (3.4 miles ). Loyola Marymount University: (5.0 miles) Great school. High quality professors. Burton Chace Park: (3,3 miles) Quiet, peaceful, clean park with nice views of Marina del Rey Pepperdine University: (17.1 miles) Beautiful campus. Only LMU on the West Coast and a few schools on the East Coast are comparable. Universal Studios: (26.8 miles) Unlike the other parks this is built on a mountain. It has a beautiful view of the city. UCLA: 10.4 Miles YouTube Headquarters: 3 Miles Disneyland Park: (43.1 miles) A unique experience, you have to go you, will not regret it.
