There is a shared entrance into the building from the porch. A shared interior hallway leads to the apartment entrance, which then has one flight of stairs up to the apartment. Once you're up the stairs, the apartment is all one level.

The spacious main bedroom has a King size bed and a workspace with desk and chair. The second bedroom has a twin size bed. A convertible sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space for one more person.

The West Seattle Water Taxi is the best way to get to and from downtown Seattle. Just 5 minutes drive to the Seacrest Dock off the east end of Alki Beach will take you to the Downtown Seattle Waterfront in 15 minutes. There is street side parking if you prefer to drive yourself. Downtown is about 20 minutes away, and Uber/Lyft are widely available.

*Our apartment is on the top floor of a 3 story historic home with original wood floors. The floors are are creaky in some areas.
Please be aware that you may experience creaking floors while moving about the apartment, as well as muffled sounds from guests in the apartment below.
*If a perfectly quiet accommodation with no adjacent neighbors is a must, our place may not be a good fit for your stay.
*Our home has efficient baseboards heaters in each room, but is not equipped with central air conditioning.
*A portable air conditioner is provided during warm weather months. It is installed in the living room, and can not be moved. Use the a/c unit in combination with the portable fans to circulate cool air throughout the apartment.
*During cool weather seasons, the portable a/c is stored away. Should you require the portable a/c be available during cool weather, please notify the host in advance so we can install it before you arrive.
*The laundry room is shared with the other apartment. Each apartment has their own machines, but the machines are in a common area on the basement level of the building. The laundry machines are free.
