Upscale comfortable house offers an open floor plan with flat, beautifully landscaped backyard ideal for entertaining groups. House is just 3 miles to Stanford with easy access to 280 and is situated in the heart of Portola Valley, known for its peaceful natural setting and hiking trails. A very kid-friendly house. Pool has electrical cover for easy / safe use. We raised our 4 kids in this open / comfortable house.

The layout is perfect for groups of friends or extended families. The living area and all but one bedroom are on one level. The open floor space connects a large TV-room with the kitchen. The living room and dining table are integrated into one large area with views to the garden and pool. The stone fireplace (wood burning) in living room provides a cozy ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. Many guests can gather around the island to help cook or just sit at the bar and join the conversation. Bar counter doubles as a convenient place for informal meals.
Extensive windows fill the house with light and views of the garden/pool. The 4 pinball machines in the house are ready for playing !

A 10 min. country drive to highway 280 gives you easy access to Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, and to Santa Cruz / Carmel. Approximately 2 hours from Napa Valley, Carmel, Monterey and Big Sur.
