This renovated historic cottage has a large outdoor dining deck on Groveland Creek, a stroll away from downtown Groveland with everything this historic town has to offer. Within a few blocks you can find, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, gallery, library, store, post office, meat market, playground and EV charging stations. All this is only 25 miles from Yosemite. Next door to the house is Mountain Sage Cafe, Gallery and Gardens where you can enjoy a coffee and meet locals.
If you are a history buff, you are in the right home. The house was built by my grandfather with his own hands for my grandmother in 1938. Its wooden interior was warmed by many guests over the years, with most the time spent lounging on the grape laden patio over the creek. Fruit trees and gardens adorn the property, as well as specialty items like down comforters, fresh coffee, and other touches to welcome the Yosemite traveler. Robb Hirsch original fine photography of the area graces the contemporary nature based-interior, making the home a quaint spot for a family and friends to take in a getaway in the Yosemite gateway. High speed wireless makes getting work done on the patio a snap. Full kitchen amenities are ready for a gathering of six with lots of storage to put it all away for your stay.
