Summary: The villa was in a good location, very quiet and peaceful especially after a long day sightseeing. Most of the major attractions were close by to get to by car so in that sense location is excellent. The beds were comfortable and the towels were clean. However, the villa is very tired internally. Furniture was very basic and dated. Only one sofa in the living area which was not enough to seat 11 of us in the party. There were cobwebs and dead/live spiders all around the house. The kitchen counters were dirty and a strange smell as soon as we walked in as if it had not been lived in for a long time. We had to buy scented candles to try to remove the stale smell. The garden was messy as there are a lot of trees but it looks like it has never been tidied. There were dead leaves everywhere. There were leaves all around the pool which ended up inside it as soon as there was a little wind. Had to message the host to tell him the pool was dirty the first day we arrived. To be fair he sent someone to clean it the next day. The water in the hot tub looked a bit discoloured. The chemicals in the hot tub burnt our eyes and the area around it is muddy. Communication with Greg the host was fine via email but he refused to give his number when I asked him several times to discuss the issues with the home. Unfortunately, I am not able to attach photographs. Definitely not worth the money!! Ashy (Scotland)
