Inverness, CA. Fantastic retreat for family and friends. Two minute walk to Chicken Ranch Beach on Tomales Bay - a terrific local beach for families. Spend hours on the beach and then walk back to the house to enjoy panoramic views of the Bay, Black Mountain and countryside, bird-watching and quiet, starry nights.
Just minutes drive away from numerous ocean and bay beaches and hikes in the Point Reyes National Seashore and Tomales Bay State Park. Kayak rentals only 200 yards down the street.
3 BR, 2+ BA (3 showers, 1 tub); panoramic bay views from living areas and bedrooms; spacious deck with amazing view, wifi, cable tv, dishwasher, washer and dryer.
This is a perfect place for 3 couples or two small families.
Main house has 2 BR, 1BA and kitchen; attached cottage has 1BR, 1BA. Both house and cottage have wood-burning stoves - firewood provided. Two-car garage with ping-pong table for spirited competitions. Mud room with shower for easy clean-up from day's activities.
Sunny, large kitchen fully stocked with cooking utensils, spices and staples. (When we aren't renting the house, we use it for family gatherings and feasts.) Weber BBQs.
One mile from Inverness general store, bakery and shops, five miles from Point Reyes Station grocery stores, bakery and restaurants.
Minimum stay: During Peak Season (May 24-Nov 30) we generally require 3 night stay if staying Friday or Saturday night or on Major Holiday (New Years, MLK, Presidents, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving, Christmas, ).
