The nearby Carpinteria Beach is perfect for a full day of fun, with bathroom facilities and outdoor showers available. In the summer, you can rent kayaks and surfboards from a pop-up shop at Sandyland and Ash.
Next to the condo is Marsh Park, a 230-acre estuary with a 1.2-mile round-trip hike on accessible graded trails. You'll encounter butterflies, seabirds, and more. Take a moment to sit and observe with a camera or binoculars—there's plenty of life to see if you slow down.
For more adventure, hike the trail to the Carpinteria Bluffs or enjoy a family picnic at the park on Linden and Sandyland, complete with picnic tables and BBQs. The nearby Amtrak station offers easy round-trip tickets for a day trip to Santa Barbara, where you can explore downtown and see the largest magnolia tree in North America at the Santa Barbara Amtrak station.
