ITH Los Angeles Beach Hostel opened in 1996 in Hermosa Beach, California, and is located about 20 minutes drive south of LAX Airport in one of the best areas of Los Angeles.
The hostel provides shared room (dorm) and private room accommodation to travelers from all over the world.
Some of the things which makes us popular with guests include our location on the beach, the fact that we are the safest hostel in Los Angeles, the bars, nightclubs, restaurants within walking distance, our proximity to public transportation, supermarkets, and cinemas, and much more. And the fact that there is so much to see and do every day! THE FIRST FLOOR OF THE HOSTEL CAN BE NOISY ON SOME DAYS OF THE WEEK SINCE WE ARE LOCATED ABOVE A BAR. IF YOU WANT A QUIETER ROOM THEN DO NOT BOOK OUR ECONOMY ROOMS.
We provide free WiFi. Complimentary Self-Serve Breakfast is offered each morning.
There is free street parking within walking distance of the hostel and there is metered parking next to us. Please read the parking signs to avoid fines.
Must have valid and physical passport / ID to check-in, show of on going traveling
Check-in time is from 4pm-12am the next day.
Please be aware that taxes are not included in your reservation total, you pay it when you check in.
Sales taxes 14 % payable to property. A credit card is needed to keep it on file for damages. Please be aware of our policy not accepting Los Angeles residents, this is a hostel for travelers so LA County residents are not considered travelers for our business.
-Guests can stay for a maximum 14 days in a year.
-Families and travelers under 18 years old are welcome in private room only. Travelers under 18 are not allowed to stay in dorm rooms.
-Guest must follow hostel rules otherwise they will be asked to leave without a refund
-No refunds after check in
-Guests are not allowed to use the business address as their personal address or to get deliveries. Packages or letters will be returned to the senders when received.
Please be aware that Los Angeles Beach Hostel is located in the entertainment district of Pier Plaza and is subject to higher than normal music levels from surrounding bar & restaurant venues...particularly Thursday - Saturday nights.
