Positive: We stayed at the InterContinental Xishuangbanna in February 2026 as a family trip with grandparents and children, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel grounds are stunning – it feels more like a tropical resort park than a regular hotel. The architecture is beautiful and full of local character, and the gardens are spacious, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing walks. It’s ideal for families, photography lovers, and anyone who enjoys a quiet and scenic atmosphere. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. The room was clean, well-designed, and had a lovely view of lush greenery. The bathroom was large and well equipped. Overall comfort was excellent. The hotel is especially family-friendly. There are many activities for children, and the restaurant even offers special kids’ meals. In the evening, there are entertainment options that make the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were warm, attentive, and always helpful. A special thanks to the butler team for their kindness and quick responses to all our questions. Location-wise, it’s convenient and well connected while still feeling secluded and peaceful. If there is one small suggestion, some facilities could be slightly updated, and better accessibility for strollers in certain areas would make it even more perfect. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Xishuangbanna.
