The historic town of Tumco across the highway features old mining shafts that make a fun day of exploration. There’s plenty to do or you can relax at camp in the comfort of AC.
The modern 44 foot camper is very spacious and comfortable. It has a main bedroom with a spacious bathroom and shower at one end of the camper and a spare bunk room with a half bath in the back. The living space is large with long couch to sprawl on or have a few guests sit together. The full kitchen has an island with 4 swivel stools to sit around for eating.
The site is located at historic Gold Rock Ranch off Ogilby Road. There is a view of the Chocolate Mountains and lots of desert riding trails leaving the ranch. If you came for the famous Glamis Sand Dunes, they are a 30 minute drive by road. There is space for a toy trailer on the site but no other campers allowed.
