Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For whatever it's worth I selected a historic house in Mendocino. The area is beautiful, but the town is overpriced and artsy weird. So the house is kind of like that, and didn't have the amenities I'd prefer. You couldn't open but about 2 windows for a breeze. There were a lot of additional instructions throughout the home which made things less warm and friendly. The whole onboarding process once I completed the sign up through VRBO was cumbersome and absurdly duplicated. All in all this feels more like a place for an eclectic older couple with some sort of toy dog, not really for a family. Don't get me wrong, the house fits the Mendocino vibe, but I've strongly reasoned that I could live without that town. I visited because I had childhood memories of going there, and do not feel the need to return again.
