Located on the public headlands, you'll be right on the picturesque and rocky shoreline with nearby trails to two beaches. The small town of Westport offers a general store and a restaurant (you can even get an espresso and Sunday brunch at the Old Abalone Pub), but there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and more just to the south in Fort Bragg (16 miles away) and 10 miles further in Mendocino.
You'll step inside to bamboo hardwood floors, recessed lighting in the wood-paneled ceilings, and an open floor plan. Large windows offer a direct view of the Pacific Ocean and you'll have a wood-burning stove for cozy and atmospheric nights inside. There's also a large screen TV, (with live-streaming access via Roku) plus a DVD player and movie library for entertainment.
The full kitchen is packed with all the major appliances you'll need (including a dishwasher), to create tasty vacation meals. Stop at the store in Fort Bragg and come back home with groceries to whip up a spicy pot of cioppino. You can enjoy your seafood stew at the dining table with gorgeous ocean views!
A small bistro table right by the windows is the perfect spot for an afternoon glass of local wine, and you'll even have binoculars for looking out to sea.
The outdoor deck is complete with patio seating and a gas grill. Work on your tan while you admire the view.
At night, the two bedrooms provide space for up to four guests. You'll have a queen bed, two twins, and two window seat mattresses—great for kids. Both bedrooms have access to the upper deck for gorgeous early morning ocean views. Other amenities include a private washer/dryer, a stereo with a CD player, and one-and-a-half baths.

Visit the Glass Beach in Fort Bragg adjacent to MacKerricher State Park or the Mendocino Botanical Gardens.
