Welcome to Cascade Cottage! Modern and charming, this sweet Old Mill era home is fully furnished for your Bend adventure. Modern furnishings, updated kitchen, easy dining for 6 inside or outside. You will love the simple clean lines of this updated home! Perfect for lounging, inside and out. Out front, you'll find a sweet porch overlooking the street. Just off of Portland Ave, you'll see lots of neighbors coming and going from downtown by foot, bike and car! Out back is a great grassy lawn that is just perfect for play and a large hot tub for lounging. Bring your bocce ball or a great book!
DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Cascade Cottage is a quick three block stroll to downtown Bend! You will be staying in the great Westside neighborhood between Downtown Bend and the Newport neighborhood. Local favorites just around the corner including Spork, Chow, and local gourmet grocer, Newport Market.
HEATING & COOLING
This home has central heating to keep you warm in the winter and 2 window A/C units to keep you cool in the summer! The window A/C units are located in the largest bedroom and in the living room.
SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS
Cascade Cottage is an updated 2 bedroom (king, queen), 1 bath home that sleeps 6 guests, with the queen sleeper sofa in the living room or a full sleeper in the den. We will provide linens for one, but not both of the sleeper sofas. Fresh linens and pillows are provided for every bed. Please do keep in mind, the 3rd bedroom has a small, full sized sofa that is more suitable for kids then adults. This 3rd bedroom is set up as a TV room and has a door to the backyard.
OUTDOOR SPACES
Outside you'll find a private backyard equipped with a BBQ and supplied propane. Patio table to enjoy your summer meals, and a locked storage unit to store your gear year-round! You'll also find two (2) bikes and helmets in that storage unit for your use! Please bring your helmet for the perfect fit. Due to noise concerns, please be whisper quiet in the backyard and hot tub after 10pm
PARKING
You will have your own private alley parking spot for 1 vehicle, that can be accessed behind the house. There is free on-street parking in front of the home also.
PET FRIENDLY
Cascade Cottage is a pet-friendly home with an enclosed backyard. Pet sheets are provided for furniture. If you plan to bring your sweet pup(s), kindly let us know prior and remember to pick up your piles! A pet fee applies to each reservation.
QUIET HOURS
This home is nestled into a lovely residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for loud and late parties. City of Bend quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and are enforced as are Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Between 10pm-8am, especially when outside enjoying the decks, please keep noise levels very low and be considerate to our neighbors.
